Privacy Policy

Effective: October 10, 2026

Teo Studio (Taeyoung Park, “we”) makes the iOS game “Waxy” (“the app”). This policy explains how your information is handled.

1. Information we collect

The app has no sign-up or login. We do not ask for your name, email, or phone number. Your game progress (currencies, balls, Mallangs, settings) is stored only on your device and is not sent to our servers.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

To keep the app free, it shows Google AdMob ads (a bottom banner and optional rewarded ads). To serve and measure ads, Google may process:

  • Your device advertising identifier (IDFA) — only if you allow tracking in iOS App Tracking Transparency
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address
  • Ad interactions (impressions, taps), device and OS information, and diagnostics

Depending on your region, a consent form (Google UMP) and the iOS tracking prompt appear on first launch. If you decline, the game works the same and non-personalized ads are shown. If you buy “Remove Ads”, the banner ad is no longer shown. Google’s processing is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

3. Usage analytics and crash reporting (PostHog, Sentry)

To improve the game, we collect the following without your name or contact details.

  • PostHog (usage analytics) — in-game events such as app launches, cracked balls, new balls, Mystery Bag pulls and milestone claims, a random identifier generated on your device, device/OS/app version and language. IP addresses are not stored. PostHog Privacy Policy
  • Sentry (crash reporting) — error details when the app freezes or crashes, device/OS/app version and performance data. Sentry Privacy Policy

We do not combine this data with other sources to identify you, and we do not sell it.

4. Ad measurement (Meta)

To measure app install ads, the Meta (Facebook) SDK may send app installs and launches, purchases and a few game events (first crack, new ball, etc.) to Meta. Your advertising identifier (IDFA) is included only if you accept both the consent form and iOS “Allow Tracking”; otherwise events are used in aggregate without it. Meta Privacy Policy

5. In-app purchases

Payments are processed by Apple. We never receive your card or payment details. To confirm and restore purchases and to count revenue, RevenueCat processes Apple-issued transaction information (item, price, purchase time) together with an anonymous user ID created on your device. RevenueCat Privacy Policy

6. Retention and deletion

Game progress stored on your device is deleted when you delete the app. Analytics and crash data are deleted within one year. Advertising data processed by Google and Meta is retained according to their policies. To request deletion of collected data, email us at the address below.

7. International transfers

The services above (Google, PostHog, Sentry, Meta) may process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States and Europe, under their own safeguards.

8. Your choices

  • Turn off tracking any time in iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
  • In regions that require ad consent, you can change your choice in the app under Settings > Privacy Settings.
  • You can reset your advertising identifier or limit personalized ads in iOS Settings.

9. Children

The app is not directed primarily at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the update on this page with a new effective date, including before adding any new tools.
